Located dead in the center of Downtown Spokane, a defunct and forgotten five story building has been given new life.
The Roxy is an adaptive reuse that required careful planning around existing structural grids, window locations, and building cores to create efficient residential units. The resulting design pumped new life into the building and downtown core, offering short term rental and apartment units comprising 21 total units. A pop-urban design aesthetic provides a modern basecamp for visitors and renters, with exposed steel trusses and pops of color.
