LIBERTY LAKE, WA

In a premiere location along I-90 at the state line of WA and ID sits a 40,000 sf expansion of a local quartz fabrication company. The building is all encompassing, hosting the offices, showroom, receiving, fabricating, and shipping facilities.

The building explores heavy forms anchored by a stone gabion wall, an homage to the element used in the creation of the quartz slabs. The form gains momentum as the offices transition to the fabrication warehouse, where glazing turns from clear to translucent, to reveal the fabrication process and create light play.
