Lumen High School is a charter school in downtown Spokane that serves teen parents and gives them a possibility to complete their diploma. with an integral childcare component.

Students grow as parents by learning essential skills needed in order to raise healthy children and as scholars by deeply engaging in academic coursework. Lumen is committed to empowering two generations by providing high academic standards, a specialized early learning center and wrap around supports to meet the layered needs of teen parents in Spokane County.

We were honored to design this school and be part of their mission, transforming a forgotten and musty space downtown into a glowing beacon of hope for students.
