The expansion of the Brick West Brewing operation marks a pivotal moment in the company’s timeline, as they look to broaden production beyond the regional map. The 18,000 sf production facility exponentially increases the brewing capacity, and introduces a canning and packaging line along with offices and storage. In addition, the ever-creative owners tasked Trek with integrating a taproom component that can be host to events and afternoon beers on the patio, while overlooking airplanes coming and going from Spokane Int’l Airport.
What would otherwise be a simple metal building, has been envisioned as a glowing beacon of beer production and branding for the continually expanding company. We imagined an entry canopy reminiscent of the angled hop trellis that beer originates from. A translucent wall showcases the brewing vessels while the taproom provides a bright, brand-red intervention in the space.
